SWS Accounting Limited, is pleased to announce the sale of its Listowel Accountancy Practice (incorporating David Fitzmaurice & Co) to Louise Carey & L M Carey & Co, 21 Church Street, Listowel. In making its decision SWS wanted to ensure the continued provision of a professional auditing, accounting, taxation and business advice, range of services to their clients L M Carey & Co will reallocate to 32 The Square, Listowel from where it will provide and enhance these services. SWS are delight to be handing over the reigns to L M Carey & Co & Louise Carey and are confident of a continued highly professional level of service.
Louise Carey is a qualified accountant, registered auditor and tax consultant who has built up an excellent reputation in the area and to a wider audience through the media since she first opened at 21 Church Street, Listowel in February 2004.
Louise spent eight years in London working for companies such as Coopers & Lybrand, now PricewaterhouseCoopers (or PwC) the world's largest professional services firm, Morgan Grenfell and the Nomura Group (the largest global investment banking and securities firms in the world). She is on the auditing panel of the ODCE. She speaks and gives taxation advice on Today FM, Radio Kerry and Clare FM as well as writing for the Limerick Leader.
Louise is President of the Listowel Rotary Club and Treasurer of the Listowel Chamber of Commerce. Louise is delighted to take up this new and exciting challenge. She is committed to providing a professional, effective and efficient service to all her clients and to ensure that a full range of services is available to suit their needs. She is grateful for the continued support she has received from near and far since first opening in Listowel. She is committed to continuing her excellent personal relationship with her current clients as well as extending it to her new clients. Louise hails from Greenville and was delighted to return home. Her brother Tony is farming in Greenville and is well known in racing circles for his involvement in Cloudy Bays and other horses.
The launch to celebrate this event will take please on this Friday, 13th at Listowel Arms Hotel, with keynote speaker Martin O Rourke. Martin created the plan for competition in health insurance in Ireland and later set up BUPA in Ireland where he had a number of companies giving insurance and health@ work services to over half a million people. BUPA Ireland was one of the top companies for to work for in Europe every year and in addition it regularly received quality and excellence in service awards. Martin resigned from the health insurance business earlier this year and now offers business and management advice to companies. |
